Plans are underway for the 2026 Garlic Fest in downtown Windsor. This year marks the 12th anniversary of this wonderfully fragrant festival. Downtown Windsor will once again host the Garlic Festival Street Fair. The Garlic Festival is sponsored by the West Hants Regional Municipality, with support from the Windsor Township Business Association.

This year’s Garlic Fest will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

This FREE event is open to the public from 11 am to 5 pm.

The 2026 Garlic Fest will have all the same events that have made it so popular, including:

• the juried art fair
• garlic and ginger product vendor area
• live music all day
• garlic and ginger cooking demonstrations
• garlic and ginger lecture
• contests (including the garlic-eating contest at 4 pm)
• wonderful food vendors
• wine/ale/spirits vendors
• local restaurants will have garlic-based menus
• garlic and ginger ice cream
