If you plan to do any other the following, a permit is required.

• Install a new service
• Connect to existing water/sewer service
• Driveway Installs or modifications
• Culvert Work

If the new service is not located on a Municipal-owned road, an additional permit is required through the NS Public Works before the job can be scheduled. It will be filled out by the Municipality, and an additional deposit will be required for this.

Please Note: There will be No permits issued from October 31 - April 15th due to the unpredictability of weather conditions and lifting of weight restrictions.
