The Community Development Department aims to support our community by providing recreation programs, active living supports, parks and open spaces, economic development, beautification, community events, tourism, cemeteries, grants and more.

- West Hants Welcome Centre (open seasonally, inside the Windsor Community Centre), 78 Thomas St, Windsor
- Windsor Library, 195 Albert St, Windsor
- Isabel & Roy Jodrey Memorial Library, 10 Main St, Hantsport
- Hants Shore Community Health Centre, 5638 Highway 215, Kempt Shore
- Copies are also distributed through all elementary schools and are available in Middle and Highschool offices.
