2022-2023 Property Tax Rates Set by Council
- Details
The 2022-2023 Property Tax Rates have been set by Council. These rates are for the taxation year of April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 and are applied per $100 of your property's taxable assessment value. Tax bills are issued in July, and due September 1, 2022. More detailed 2022-2023 Budget information can be found here.

Property assessments are sent by Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC) in January of each year. If you have any questions about your assessment or have not yet received your assessment contact PVSC directly at 1-800-380-7775 or visit their website PVSC.ca.
NS Partnership Opportunity Announcement

The Nova Scotia Department of Municipal Affairs and Housing has announced the availability of vacant Provincially-owned land for residential developers in Nova Scotia, including several parcels near Tremain Crescent in Windsor. The Province has advised that proposals will be accepted for development of affordable housing on these lands until August 31, 2022.
It is up to the Province to accept or refuse any proposal. Proposals for Tremain Crescent must meet the requirements of the Windsor Land Use By-law. Until the Province advises WHRM of specific proposals, WHRM will not know the specifics of any proposals, or whether a Land Use By-law amendment or development agreement is needed. Any required amendment or development agreement will follow the required public process.
