The Regional Emergency Management Organization, Hants County - Western Zone comprises of three sections.

Section 1 is the Basic Plan.
Section 2 outlines the Emergency Planning Members and their responsibilities.

Section 3, the Individual Plans, provides detailed plans for the various departments and agencies involved in the emergency preparedness operation.

This plan was prepared in cooperation with Local Emergency Response Agencies. All appointed and elected municipal officials and employees involved in the plan must be aware of, and prepared to carry out, their responsibilities and duties during an emergency situation. The plan's success and effectiveness depends on their commitment.
